CANCELLATION POLICY

Appointment & Cancellation Policy All appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by calling the salon directly during business hours. At Skye’s Hampton Hair, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. We deeply value and respect our guests’ time, and we kindly ask that our stylists’ time be respected in return. Our cancellation policy is not intended to be harsh—it exists to protect the valuable time of the professionals at Skye’s Hampton Hair and to allow us the opportunity to accommodate guests on our waitlist. Last-minute cancellations and missed appointments leave openings that are often impossible to fill, directly impacting our stylists and preventing other guests from receiving appointments. We sincerely appreciate your understanding, respect, and cooperation. Card on File A valid credit or debit card is required to be kept on file for all appointments and services booked at Skye’s Hampton Hair. A card on file is required to reserve your appointment and may be used to process applicable cancellation, late cancellation, or no-show fees in accordance with the policies outlined below. By booking an appointment with Skye’s Hampton Hair, you acknowledge and agree to our appointment and cancellation policies. Contacting the Salon All appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by calling the salon directly during business hours at (631) 800-6888. To ensure your request is received and processed properly, we do not accept appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests through text message, email, Instagram, Facebook, direct messages, voicemail, or any other social media platform. Your appointment is not considered canceled or rescheduled until you have spoken directly with a member of our team. Chemical & Extension Services All chemical services—including color, blonding, balayage, highlights, gray coverage, glosses, keratin treatments, perms, and all other chemical services—as well as all extension appointments, require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Haircuts & Styling Services Haircuts, blowouts, styling services, and all other non-chemical appointments require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Same-Day Cancellations Appointments canceled or rescheduled on the same day as the scheduled appointment will be charged 85% of the reserved service total. The same-day cancellation fee supersedes the standard 50% late-cancellation fee. No-Show Policy Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled appointment without notifying the salon will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. Repeated no-shows or excessive last-minute cancellations may require prepayment for future appointments or may result in the inability to book future services at Skye’s Hampton Hair. Late Arrival Policy Please arrive on time so we can provide you with the exceptional service and experience you deserve. If you are running late, please call the salon as soon as possible. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to have their service shortened or their appointment rescheduled to avoid delaying other scheduled guests. If we are unable to accommodate your appointment due to your late arrival, your appointment will be considered a late cancellation, and the applicable cancellation fee outlined above may apply. Deposits A non-refundable deposit is required for: * All first-time chemical service guests * All extension appointments * All appointments expected to last 3 hours or longer Deposits range from 30–50% of the scheduled service and are applied toward your final service total. All extension appointments require a non-refundable deposit. If you need to reschedule your appointment and provide the required notice outlined in our cancellation policy, your deposit may be transferred one time to your rescheduled appointment. If the rescheduled appointment needs to be moved or rescheduled a second time, the original deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to secure your next appointment. If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled outside of our cancellation policy, the deposit will be forfeited. If the applicable cancellation fee exceeds the amount of the deposit, the remaining balance must be paid before booking any future appointments. Deposits are non-refundable and may not be transferred to another guest.
